I write this letter to express my deep gratitude to all teachers and academic consultants at FTMS. I passed the CFA exam for level 1, Dec 2009.

I am a fourth-year student of a technical university (Bách Khoa University), but I am  very interested in finance and investment. That is the reason why I looked for a program that can support for my career path. I had just known the CFA program for less than 1 year, by a friend and from some forums.

As you know, CFA examination is one of the most difficult and exhaustive exam. Moreover, for a technical student with the zero economic background like me, this program was nearly out of my reach, the only topic that I feel confident is Quantitative methods. Luckily, thanks to the help from FTMS teachers, combining with effort myself, I finally overcame this challenge. I spent 4-5 hours per day to study CFA curriculum and lecture notes during 6 months.

I especially appreciate Mr. NGUYEN KHANH LAM whose advice in my indecisive period to take CFA program was very necessary. He motivated me to participate in this exam. Thank you!

Dear Lecturer HUA CHIA YEE, your expertise and help have been invaluable. You gave us several details in the curriculum that we do not notice and think that it is not important. Actually, I faced some like your sample questions in real exam. Do you remember the question I asked you how to upgrade the mark in economic? I was successful with your tips in allocating the percentage between macro and microeconomic. Thank you!

Dear Lecturer YAP KAM CHENG, your lecture note is easy to understand, it helped me overcome my “nightmare” economics topic. Now, although I am not an economics student, I understand well about econs. Thank you!

Dear Lecturer DAVID MEOW, your illustrative pictures and realistic examples in note make us fell relaxed and easy to keep in mind all strange rules from CFA Institute in Ethics part. Thank you!

Dear Mr VU DUC MINH, my scores in Fixed Income and Equity are both higher than 70%. Thank you for your enthusiasm in teaching and sensible schedule. Your funny stories are useful and made us feel comfortable. Thank you!

Dear Ms. TRAN MINH THAO, Quantitative method is not hard for me to study, I understood all before joining in your class, but I so admired you due to your “tricky” skills in calculation and exceptional tips. You helped me solve the problem more quickly and accurately. Thank you so much!

Dear Ms. HOANG THI THAI HA, we will always remember that “Long Put” diagram looks like a “P”.  You had managed to turn a difficult subject into an easier one. Especially, thank you for relieving me when I worried about the problem with my ticket (They did not print my mid-name). Thank you!

Thank FTMS staff for preparing for us delicious break time meal.

Finally, wish all FTMS staff and my dear Teachers good health and happiness.
